Air lift pumps are used to lift liquids filled with solids. For this purpose, the gas is injected into the pipeline from below the liquid level by the compressor, and then vertically immersed in the liquid.
The function of the air lift pump is based on the lifting effect of the liquid and gas mixture. Therefore, they can only be used in pump systems with a sufficiently large head difference.
