Pull-out back design
Pull-out back design refers to the type of centrifugal pump design, which meets the requirements of the refinery for quick disassembly and reassembly, so it is often used in process pumps. The advantage of this design is that once the motor is disconnected and the connecting flange is loosened, the rotating assembly including the bearing and shaft seal can be pulled out of the pump housing. This means that internal components can be inspected and replaced without removing the housing from the pipeline.
If the coupling used is also equipped with a spacer sleeve, the motor may remain on the pump base even if the rotating assembly is removed. Since moving the isolation sleeve to the side can provide enough axial clearance to remove the rotating components, the power cord can also remain installed.
This easy-to-maintain design has also been used for pumps in other applications to ensure effective deployment by professionals.
