Sino-Russian natural gas pipeline construction has experienced twists and turns. Sino-Russian natural gas cooperation is moving forward intensively. The west line of the Sino-Russian natural gas pipeline is expected to be basically ventilated next year. In addition, for the Sino-Russian Yamal Liquefied Natural Gas project (LNG), the first production line of the project was completed and put into production last year. The second production line will be completed and put into operation this year. The project will eventually build three production lines with a total capacity of 16.6 million tons.
The project will supply four million tons per year to the Chinese market after final construction.It is said that in December last year, the Sino-Russian major energy cooperation project Sino-Russian Yamal LNG project was officially put into operation. The project is located in the extremely cold zone of the Arctic Circle at 71 degrees north latitude and 50 degrees below near the Arctic Ocean. It is the first overseas large-scale project after the proposal of The Belt And Road and the largest LNG project in the world.
